Quiche Recipe

A great quiche recipe for those casual Sunday breakfasts.
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cooked broccoli
  • 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic pepper
  • 5 strips bacon
  • 1 pie crust - 9"
1. Cook broccoli until soft and bacon until crisp. Place both on paper towel to absorb oil and water.
2. Dice onions, broccoli and bacon and place in pie crust. Add grated cheese
3. In a 4 cup measuring cup beat the 5 eggs until frothy. Add milk until the cup is at the 3-1/2 cup level. Add spices. Mix thoroughly.
4. Add milk and egg mixture to pie crust.
5. Place in a 400 degree F oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees F and cook until top is golden brown and firm.
Remove from the oven and let set for 5 minutes before serving.
