A delicious and light Strawberry Mousse Recipe

A light all natural treat that will impress all your friends

  •     2 Cups Fresh Strawberries (sliced)
  •     1/4 Cup Sugar
  •     2 Packets of unflavored gelatin
  •     2 Cups Whipping Cream
  •     1/4 Cup Sugar
  •     1/2 Tsp Vanilla

1. In a medium saucepan combine sliced strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar. Cook over medium heat until sugar melts. Use hand blender to puree strawberries.

2. Prepare gelatin according to instructions on package. Add strawberries and stir. Set aside to cool.

3. Whip 2 cups whipping cream until it forms medium peaks. Add sugar and vanilla half way through whipping.

4. After strawberry puree has cooled to room temperature fold in whipped cream. Continue folding until mixture is completely consolidated.

5. Cover and let set up in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

6. Serve and enjoy.
