An arrabiata recipe that is hot and spicy

This great arrabiata recipe has a spicy kick and is great for those cool fall days. An easy pasta recipe.


  •     2 Chorizso Sausage
  •     1/2 Onion (Diced)
  •     1/2 Red Pepper
  •     1 - 14 oz can Stewed Tomatos
  •     1 - 14 oz can Tomato Sauce
  •     1 - 5-1/2 oz can Tomato Paste
  •     Penne

1. Start cooking penne noodles according to the directions on the package.

2. Dice the onions and cut the pepper into slices. Cut the chorizso into round slices about 1/8 inch thick.

3. Preheat the fry pan and add chirizso. Cook until sausage starts to brown.Add onions and peppers and continue to cook over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes stirring occationally.

4. Add the tomato paste, sauce and stewed tomatos. Stir and continue to cook for 10 minutes over medium low heat.

5. Add cooked and drained penne to sauce and cook over low heat for an additional 5 minutes to allow sauce to flavour noodles.

Serve with freshly ground parmesan cheese and home-made garlic toast.
